During this workshop, you will learn the step-by-step process of sowing native seeds on your own, using simple, accessible techniques you can replicate at home. We'll cover everything from selecting the right seeds and containers to understanding soil requirements and seasonal timing. By the end, you'll have the confidence and knowledge to start your own native plant garden from seed.
This program is presented in partnership with the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library. The Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library is a grassroots organization that promotes gardening with native plants to provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, insects, birds, and other wildlife.
