Get comfortable! Sit, stand, or lie down and listen to the first few chapters of an exciting middle-grade novel read aloud by library staff. Fidget toys and colouring pages relevant to the book of the week will be available.
Let the magic continue at home! The book being read will be available to borrow at the program, in multiple formats if they exist (audiobook, large print, etc.) and a small selection of other books, movies, and games from the series or from the author will also be available to borrow.
This program is primarily intended for children aged 7-12 and their families. All are welcome!

Event Moderation & Tips
Event Moderation & Troubleshooting Tips
1. New Events Not Appearing in Search
We’ve seen an increase in cases where newly created events do not appear in the Events search. If this happens, please try the following:
- Re-save the event’s schedule. This is especially important for events with single schedule entries, which may not index correctly on first save.
Re-saving triggers a refresh of the event data and usually resolves the issue.
2. Reminder: Moderation Process for Edited Events
Please remember that when an existing event is edited:
- Any update places the event back into moderation.
- A moderator must review and approve the changes before they become publicly visible.
If your updates don’t appear right away, the event is likely still awaiting moderation.
