Abbas Akkasi, PhD is a computer scientist and AI researcher specializing in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and machine learning. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and has research and teaching experience across Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. His work spans NLP, deep learning, accessibility technologies, and biomedical text mining, and he has published in peer-reviewed venues. Abbas also contributes to open-source AI projects and engages with the AI research community through code and collaborations
