What should a library for youth look like? Youth ages 13–18 are invited to share their thoughts, ideas, and feedback on the library. We want to hear directly from you about what matters most and how the library can better serve you now and in the future. During this conversation, we’ll talk about: • Library spaces and seating – how areas should look, feel, and function • Programs and events – what kinds of activities you want to attend • Collections and materials – books, media, formats, and topics you want to see more of • Comfort and inclusion – what makes the library feel welcoming, safe, and youth friendly • Support and resources – how the library can better support interests, creativity, and everyday needs • Communication – how you want to hear about library events and programs • Big ideas for the future – your vision for the ideal library All participants completing community involvement activities will receive 1 hour of volunteering for attending this session. Here’s your chance to speak honestly, listen to others, and help shape library services for youth. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Your voice matters—help us improve our services so that we can better serve you.
