On the second and fourth Mondays of each month, this event provides an opportunity for local authors and others who enjoy good writing to discuss writing of all types (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, dramatic scripts, graphic novels, etc.) Members will have the opportunity to share their writing and exchange useful feedback. Event Moderation & Troubleshooting Tips
1. New Events Not Appearing in Search
We’ve seen an increase in cases where newly created events do not appear in the Events search. If this happens, please try the following:
- Re-save the event’s schedule. This is especially important for events with single schedule entries, which may not index correctly on first save.
Re-saving triggers a refresh of the event data and usually resolves the issue.
2. Reminder: Moderation Process for Edited Events
Please remember that when an existing event is edited:
- Any update places the event back into moderation.
- A moderator must review and approve the changes before they become publicly visible.
If your updates don’t appear right away, the event is likely still awaiting moderation.
