    Join us for a program that features:

    dimmed lighting

    sensory toys

    a smaller number of participants

    an adapted circle time with stories, rhymes and songs

    During this program there will be opportunities for open play and a chance to connect with other families. The circle time portion of this program is offered at 10:45. A family member must be present for the duration of the program.

    This program provides a welcoming environment and respects the needs of children from 18 months to 6 years who live with developmental disabilities and/or autism, or who show signs of a developmental delay.

    Get a Techno Buddy!

    Technology and Social Media can be overwhelming.

    Teen Volunteers share their Social Media knowledge with older Adult in a two-on-one setting.  

    Areas of technology help will focus on user’s personal account use by initial setting up of the accounts and how use the site:

    Facebook

    Instagram

    X (former Twitter)

    Pinterest

    One hour= One topic

    If you want to cover a different topic from the list, Facilitator will need to approve it, as this is a one hour session.

    Meeting place: Teen Zone on the 3rd floor.

    Please bring your device fully charged (ex. cell phone, tablet, or laptop).

    Please provide a phone number we can contact you about your topic.

    You can sign up for one session and one waiting list slot per quarter.

    Curious about native plant gardening? Join us for a presentation with Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library; they will provide an overview of native plant gardening and how you can help make a difference in your garden.

    The Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library is a grassroots organization that promotes gardening with native plants to provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, insects, birds, and other wildlife.

    Every Monday evening we put the spotlight on a director's work, giving us a chance to explore their oeuvre, revisit movies we've played on Tuesdays, and just....watch some good movies. This month's pick is Lee Chang-dong.

    Join us for a free screening of Oasis In as part of our Monday Director Spotlight Series. The film was released in 2002. The screening will take place in our auditorium, starts at 6:00PM and is free to attend.

    Note: The film is intended for a mature audience. 132 minutes. In Korean with English subtitles.
