    Gardening with native species is good for you, your water bill and local pollinators. Join Mélanie Ouellette, Founder and Chair of the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library and learn all about the benefits of choosing to garden with native plants.

    Ask Mélanie how to use native species in your own garden during the Q&A session at the end of the talk.

    The Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library is a grassroots organization that promotes gardening with native plants to provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, insects, birds, and other wildlife.

    For the swap we accept:

    •Well rooted, healthy and pest free cuttings or seedlings

    •Unopened seed packages

    •Clean plastic greenhouse pots

    •Good condition biodegradable planting containers

    Please clearly label all plants. Early donations will be accepted at the desk starting Friday June 20th at 10am.
