NEW Event Updates:
- Due to unexpected scheduling shifts (Team Finland norovirus earlier last week), the Team Canada game was moved up to 10:40 AM. They will be playing against Germany.
In response, we will be opening the Ben Franklin Chambers at 10:30 AM and starting the screening early. All other event plans and timing will stay the same.
There is still a women’s hockey quarterfinal at 3:10 PM, but it will be Team Finland playing Switzerland. Did you know? Ottawa Charge defender Ronja Savolainen and goaltender Sanni Ahola both play for Team Finland! - We have confirmed that three Ottawa Charge players will be joining us for the event activities at 2 pm. What’s cooler than making your own hockey superfan keychain? Making it while sitting beside an Ottawa Charge player...
While the puck will drop earlier in the morning for Team Canada, we still have plenty happening. As of 2 PM we have the hot chocolate bar, the Olympic photo booth, custom keychain crafting, and exclusive giveaways like signed copies of Breakaway. It’s a 'celebration of the game'— the perfect way to spend your Saturday afternoon with the community.
