    This session focuses on innovative methods to reuse food and minimize waste. Participants will learn meal planning and budgeting techniques, discover creative ways to reuse leftovers, and explore how to utilize food scraps to make stocks and broths. The session will start with an icebreaker activity where participants share their own creative food reuse ideas. Presented by Foodhsharing Ottawa

  • Parenting in Ottawa

    Speak, in person, with a Public Health Nurse to get support around infant feeding and parenting. No appointment is necessary, simply drop in during these hours. Learn ways to help your child eat healthy and be active Make sure your child is on track with their growth and development. In partnership with Ottawa Public Health.

    The Rockcliffe Park Book Club gathers to enjoy and discuss a wide variety of books selected by book club members.  Please join in to share the enjoyment of good books in a relaxed atmosphere in person, in the afternoon. 

    The group will meet the first Tuesday of every month.  The initial meeting will be Tuesday, September 3 from 1:30-2:30 pm.

    Drop-in to work on your family tree, share research strategies, and discover what resources are available for your research. Sessions are held every other Tuesday at 2:00pm in the Genealogy area. 

    Specialists from the Ontario Genealogical Society Ottawa Branch and the Ottawa Public Library will answer questions and help you get the most from library resources.  

    Bring your laptop, tablet, or borrow a Chromebook from the library.
