Join Certified Chef de Cuisine, Joe Thottungal, as he takes you on a spice journey through food, culture, and community! In this demonstration workshop, you will learn about southern Indian cuisine while exploring spices and other ingredients.
A handout will be provided.
About Joe Thottungal: Restaurateur, philanthropist, and cookbook author of Coconut Lagoon and My Thali, Joe Thottungal is an award-winning executive chef and devoted educator of culinary experiences. He received the Order of Ottawa in 2020 and is renowned for being a community builder in Ottawa and beyond.
This workshop will be held at the Ron Kolbus Clubhouse (2825 Dumaurier Ave) and is part of Ottawa Public Library’s Kitchen Experiences series.
