Read with a Teen Volunteer
Reading Buddies is a program that pairs teen volunteers (ages 14–18) with children in Grades 2 to 4 who would like to strengthen their reading skills.
During this 45-minute session, your child will read with a teen volunteer for approximately 10 to 15 minutes in a relaxed, supportive environment. For the remainder of the session, children will participate in a fun bilingual activity or game designed to explore letters and the alphabet in the world around them.
Please note: A parent or guardian must remain in the library and be available throughout the session.
