In this 1.5 hour class we will create a warm and woolie rose brooch. Using the
technique called Needle Felting, Wendo will take you through the steps to make
this rose. No experience is necessary and you will be able to wear your brooch
home!
About Wendo
Wendo has had an amazing career in animation and before the computer took over the hand drawn elements of animation. She traveled all over the world working on features and television shows.
Through her travels, she studied different creative arts; silk embroidery in Korea, batik dyeing in Singapore, pottery in Phoenix and finally in Berlin she found the art of felt making.
In 2002, she began creating wooly sculptures and landscapes, making needle felting kits and most enjoyably....teaching the art of Needle Felting. She loves teaching this passion of hers because it’s SO simple and everyone can do it! The felting needle can be used almost as a paint brush to create multiple layers of depth in a landscape or as a carving tool to make 3 dimensional art.
