Join Amelinda Bérubé, author of The Ones Who Come Back Hungry, Here There are Monsters, and The Dark Beneath the Ice, for an interactive writing workshop. "Show, don't tell" is a classic writing tip, and while it's often good advice, sometimes telling is important! Explore ways to show and tell in your writing by learning about scene and summary, the differences between them, and which one to use when. These tips and tricks will help you write a great short story. Ages 13-18.
This workshop is presented as part of the Ottawa Public Library’s Awesome Authors Youth Writing Contest.
