Not sure what to write? Spark your creativity with activities lead by the Capital Region Writers. Reconnect with the act of writing itself on one of the 14 vintage typewriters provided by the Ottawa Mécanoscripts.
Capital Region Writers is an Ottawa-based writing group for writers of all experience levels, writing in any genre or language. This event is open to anyone aged 13 and up. (Any participants under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian's permission to attend.)
The Ottawa Mécanoscripts is a group of Typewriter enthusiasts who love to share their knowledge and passion for collecting and restoring vintage typewriters.
Saturday November 1st, 2025. Drop-In 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
