Known for his award-winning fiction and, more recently, his ventures into poetry and mystery writing, Didier Leclair has captivated readers with stories that blend sharp social observation, unforgettable characters, and compelling intrigue. About Didier Leclair
Born in Montréal to Rwandan parents, Didier Leclair earned the Prix Trillium in 2000 for his debut novel, Toronto, je t'aime. His second novel, Ce pays qui est le mien, was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award. He has put out 11 novels, and his most recent, Faites vos jeux, rien ne va plus, was published this year by Éditions David. A former journalist, Leclair is now a French assessor for the YMCA in Toronto.
