Kites, parachutes and Flight. We will visit the designs of the Maori people of New Zealand who celebrate the New Year with kites! These are not toys, they are used to communicate with the ancestors and celebrate the renewal of life. We will use natural & recycled materials to create our own kites and find out if we can get them airborne! Registration required. Ages 4+.
