JANUARY 2026 Session 2: “Winter Seed Sowing Workshop for your Pollinator/Wildlife Garden”
Welcome to the second workshop in the 4-part "Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL) Presents..." series! Come get your hands dirty and your spirits lifted as we plant native seeds through the long dark winter – getting ready for spring planting. Unlike vegetable gardens, native plant seeds love to spend the winter outside sleeping under a blanket of snow, and many will start to sprout before the snow has all melted away in March/April. Bring your project site plan if you have one. All materials will be provided, including a starter pot or two, soil and sample seeds.
APRIL 2026: Session 3: “Spring Gently into your Pollinator/Wildlife Garden”
SEPTEMBER 2026 Session 4: “Collecting and Storing your Native Plant Seeds”
