About Kana Imai

 

Kana Imai is a Japanese violinist and a graduate of the Toho Gakuen School of Music.She has furthered her musical training at the Hungarian International Music Camp, Music Master Course in Japan, and Thomas Christian Master Course in Austria, where she was selected to perform in the final concert as both as a soloist and concertmaster. She has received many awards in national competitions and auditions throughout Japan and has performed with a wide range of orchestras. Her concert appearances have taken her to audiences around the world, including performances in New York and Madrid.Ottawa has become Kana’s second artistic home, where she appeared regularly in concert as well as at educational programs and diplomatic receptions.
