New to the voting process? Join us for a voting workshop for adults developed by the City of Ottawa’s Elections Office.
The presentation will broadly cover key election information and will be followed by a mock voting activity.
The session includes a short presentation followed by a mock voting activity. During the presentation, attendees will learn about the upcoming 2026 Municipal Elections that will broadly cover key election information, followed by the voting activity.
During the mock-voting activity, the room will be set up to resemble a voting place. Election staff will walk attendees through casting a vote and demonstrate what they can expect in the voting place this October.
This presentation is offered in English and is designed for first-time adult voters and new Canadians who may not have voted in a Canadian election in the past.
