The Richmond branch delivers friendly, personal service and the full resources of the OPL through the online catalogue to the surrounding rural area. The branch also displays local art monthly, and is set in a beautiful grove of mature trees, right in the centre of the community. Every fall, Richmond plays host to Ontario's oldest agricultural fair. This branch has Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) used books sales.
